The KickStart Winter League finally got underway today. Thanks to players from All Stars and Pro Team who turned out to register but who didn't get a game ( but are playing next week - Old Guns have all previously registered) .Following an explanation of how KickStart works and distribution of fixtures, action commenced with the two teams playing, Team Brown and All Whites looking at the 'male cancers' activity; All Whites scored more points than their opponents for this activity. The football then took over, with Team Brown winning the match with 18 goals to 6 in reply from All Whites - who nevertheless gave a credible performance on the field, and with a higher Health Activity score of 23 to Team Brown's 16, means that All Whites are top of the league for week 1.
